DECLUTTER CHALLENGE - DAY 14 - FURNITURE

We are past the halfway point in our 21-day declutter challenge. Now you have some extra space in your sewing room, Today I want you to take a good look at your furniture in your space.
Go back to my video Organizer your sewing space Part 1. Think of your sewing triangle. How is yours working for you?
Can you remove some furniture from your space to make it work better? You might have an extra chair.
Maybe you can turn your sewing table to get more light if you remove that dressing table.
Or now work at the other end of your dining room without a bookcase in the way.
You might not have any extra furniture to consider. Then just take the day to rest and enjoy your space.
Or maybe you’re like me and have some tasks from previous days to catch up on.
Just remember that life happens. And some weeks more life happens than others. So don't take it as a failure if you miss a day or two or even a week. That happened to me this week. My unboxing video took a lot of brain space and for two days, I did not have time to fit in even a 15 minute declutter.
So I am using today to circle back and do challenges 10 & 11.
Take a moment at the end of the day to take a picture of your sewing space. We have been at this for 14 days. I hope you are seeing and feeling a difference in your space. For me, I finally reduced my drawer space from 5 to 3, and I can see the top of this counter for the first time in 4 years!
As always, post your progress on social media, either by the hashtag #jgidqdeclutter2021 or by following on Facebook. Next week we'll be dealing with Mt Scrapmore, your UFO’s and your fabrics!
