Big fan, Karen. Retired at 79 from my law practice, thank goodness, I and want to catch up with the fun parts of life. I used to sew and embroider but work overcame me and I still consider myself a beginner, but your videos and tutorials are priceless. I am a born New Englander and lived in NY/NJ for the last 40 or so years, but surprisingly moved to SC in 2020 just as Covid affected all of us. I have no family down here and have spent a lot of time alone but have been blessed with shows like yours. Your humor and intelligence are a delight since 2020. Thanks for sharing your life and motivating me. I am still working on decluttering. It’s a big job since I moved from a 5 bedroom house to a condo and all that stuff ended up in the 3rd bedroom, which is, of course my sewing room/office, but I use your timer method and it’s slowly getting there. I just need to stop buying stuff! Fabrics from Tula Pink and Kaffe Fassett are my downfall. To be honest, so are a lot of other companies and designers. I’m trying to learn skills you teach and make practice blocks, etc. That’s ok. I just need to let the younger women in the family inherit!
