Declutter Challenge 2024 - Day 7 - Catch-Up Day

This past week we cleaned out the garbage, sent all the non-sewing clutter out of our space and cleaned out the paper. And found our sewing machine.

Today is a free day. This is a day to catch up, catch your breath, and do another 15 minutes in a certain category. Do a bit more tidying up. Clean a bit or simply sit sew and enjoy.

You might have a brain dump of ideas that came up during the week that you can put where you need to put them. On to-do lists or schedules or image boards.

I have spent the week working on smaller projects. I also have been quilting and binding all my scrap quilts. I think I have around 10 more to go 🙄. I am trying to do things that "tickle my brain"

So how was your day? How was your first week. Please share your stories online with the hashtag #declutterchallenge2024. But no pressure. Life gets busy and goes in ebbs and flows…You do what you need to do today.

Next week we'll be diving into our tools. So be sure to subscribe. See you tomorrow on Day

Here are some interviews that might inspire you in the days ahead.

Having followed along for the past couple of years, I have, fortunately, picked up some good habits. Patterns, recipes and other interested each have their own digital file on my computer. I keep photos of my projects on my phone. I’m not perfect, but I have a system that works for me and it is helping me as I more or less actively participate this year.

I agree. It might take me longer than 27 days but I am learning lots of new ideas to declutter.

This is my first time doing the Declutter Challenge and boy do I need it. Like someone else posted it's going to take 27 weekends instead of 27 days but thanks to your daily posts I will get there.
